Authenticity Online with Tisha Marie Pelletier

Ellis and I had a great time on Tisha Marie Pelletier’s #CasualConvoFriday livestream. We discussed topics that we’ve been hearing in our recent client calls with business owners and executives:

  • What does it mean to be authentic in your work?

  • What are some of the challenges that people express about content in general?

  • Do I need to build a big audience?

  • Do I need to be constantly online?

  • Should I just make stuff? (i.e. just write a bunch of blog posts/hire someone to do that)

  • How do I take what I'm good at in real life and translate that into who I am online?

People who have a strong online presence make it look so easy, don’t they? They always know just what to say and when. Every time they post, they get a million likes and comments. Meanwhile, you might be sitting at your desk for two hours going:

  • “I can’t say that online.”

  • “No one cares about this.”

  • “This doesn’t need to be said.”

  • “This sounds stupid.”

  • “This doesn’t sound like me.”

Well, fear not! Ellis and I go in-depth with Tisha for about 30 minutes answering these tough questions and responding to these kinds of thoughts.

Enjoy!
