Your FREE ghostwriter is here, learn to use it

Having a ghostwriter used to be an expensive luxury reserved for the most important people. Politicians, actors, celebrities… and let’s be honest, half of LinkedIn. Not people like you and me.

Well, guess what? Ghostwriting is now free. We all have access to a built-in ghostwriter—it’s called generative AI. And if you’re not using it, you’re missing out.

But here’s the thing: the magic of ghostwriting isn’t the writing itself. It’s not just about having someone (or something) write for you. The real value is in organizing, structuring, and transforming your ideas into something coherent, engaging, and worth reading.

So, let’s talk about three ways to actually use AI as your ghostwriter.

1. Have the AI interview you

Most people don’t realize this, but AI can interview you like a real person.

All you have to do is tell it: “I want to write a piece about XYZ. Ask me a series of questions to guide my thoughts.” And it will.

Instead of struggling with a blank page, you can just answer questions, and AI will turn those responses into structured content. Even better? Since it’s using your own words, it will sound like you—not some robotic AI nonsense.

From there, you can either publish it as is or tweak it to fit your style. But the heavy lifting? Done.

2. Have AI read your transcripts

This one is massively underused. If you ever:

  • Give a speech

  • Host a Zoom call

  • Ramble into a voice memo

…you already have content—you just haven’t turned it into something usable yet.

AI can transcribe everything you’ve said and convert it into a structured, readable article. It organizes the chaos of spoken words into something that actually makes sense.

I do this all the time. I take my videos, have AI transcribe them, and then use another AI tool to generate a clean, structured article from what I just said. No blank pages. No writer’s block. Just instant content.

3. Just tell AI what you want—then iterate

AI isn’t perfect, but it’s a great starting point. You can tell it:

“I need an article about [topic]. Make it professional but casual. Avoid corporate buzzwords. Focus on these three points.”

Treat it like a real ghostwriter who doesn’t know your style yet. The more direction you give, the better the output. And once AI generates a draft, you can tweak it yourself or ask AI to adjust it further.

Too formal? Tell it to loosen up.

Too generic? Tell it to go deeper.

Not funny enough? Tell it to add some humor.

Or, if you’re that important, have someone else edit it for you. (You could hire us, too.) Ask an expert on your team to review it for accuracy.

Why would a ghostwriter like me tell you this?

Because I know where AI sucks as a ghostwriter. AI is fast and efficient, but it still can’t replace a real human’s insight, voice, and strategic thinking.

But here’s the truth: having an AI ghostwriter is better than producing nothing at all. If your choices are “AI-assisted content” or no content at all, the answer is obvious.

And when you’re ready to level up? Well, I’ll be here.
