3 BS excuses that stop you from making content

We all have that guilt about not doing the right things: Eating better, exercising more, and texting back instead of just mentally replying and moving on. (Yes, I know. I owe you a text.)

But today, we’re talking about a different kind of guilt: not making content.

Your website is outdated. You don’t post anything. And yet, you expect business to just show up? Your pipeline is empty because you don’t produce.

The hardest part about content isn’t coming up with ideas. It’s just doing it. Getting it out there. But most people have one of three excuses that keep them from hitting publish. Let’s put an end to them right now.

Excuse #1: “I don’t have time”

Guess what? You don’t need time. You need a system. (Or you need a ghostwriter.)

Making content isn’t extra work—it’s just documenting what you’re already doing. Every time you talk to a customer, answer a question, or think about your industry, you’re producing content. You’re just not writing it down.

We’ll get into how to turn conversations into content in tomorrow’s post, but for now, remember: you already have the ideas. You just need a process.

Excuse #2: “I’m not a great writer”

There’s only one way to get better at writing: write.

But if you really, really don’t want to? AI can do it for you.

AI ghostwriting tools can take your thoughts and turn them into full-fledged articles, LinkedIn posts, or even scripts. No more staring at a blank page.

Tomorrow’s post will cover how to use AI as your ghostwriter so you can stop overthinking and start publishing.

Excuse #3: “I don’t have anything original to say”

Let me save you some time: most ideas aren’t original.

Nobody is out here inventing brand-new concepts every day. It’s all about how you package your ideas. If you care about what you’re saying, people will care too.

The only way your content will be boring is if you don’t actually believe in what you’re talking about. Even then, though? It’s still better than producing nothing.

So what’s stopping you?

Just like no one forced me to eat all that chocolate yesterday (which, in hindsight, was a terrible decision), no one is stopping you from producing content.

So get out there and get started. Or, you know… hire us to do it for you.
